Post every new blog article to Bluesky automatically
Each new article becomes one Bluesky post, written for Bluesky rather than pasted from the excerpt: under 300 characters, with a link that is actually clickable and a link card showing the title and a preview image. It goes out about two hours after the article publishes, so the post and the page don't land at the same moment. You connect with an app password, never your main one.
How do I connect Bluesky?
- In Bluesky, open Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and add one called AmplifySignal.
- In AmplifySignal, open your site's Channels page, choose Bluesky, and enter your handle and that app password.
We sign in once while you connect, so a typo in the handle or password shows up then, not on the day of the first post. Revoke the app password in Bluesky and posting stops.
What does the post look like?
One idea from the article in a sentence or two, casual, no hashtags, then the link. Bluesky doesn't make bare URLs clickable or fetch previews on its own, so we mark the link so it can be clicked and attach the card ourselves: the article's title, its description and a title image in your site's colors. Every post is checked against Bluesky's 300-character limit before it is queued.
When does it go out?
About two hours and fifteen minutes after the article publishes. Every post sits on the calendar until then, where you can edit the text, move it or skip it. A weekly cap per channel keeps a busy week from flooding your followers. A post that already went out can be retracted, which deletes it from Bluesky; Bluesky has no editing, so retract and re-post is the fix for a mistake.
Where do the articles come from?
Your blog on Ghost, WordPress, or one we host on your own domain. Posts you already published can be turned into Bluesky posts on the Remix page by pasting their URL.
What it doesn't do
- One post per article, not a thread.
- Videos aren't posted to Bluesky yet.
- X, Threads and Mastodon work by hand: we write the post for each, and at its time you get the copy and a link that opens the network's composer with it filled in. You press post.
Questions
Do you need my Bluesky password?
No. An app password only, which you can revoke in Bluesky's settings at any time.

Yes. Edit it on the calendar any time before it goes out; your text is checked against the 300-character limit.
Does it work with a custom domain handle?
