Outrank alternative
AmplifySignal writes SEO articles for a small site and the social posts that go with them, sourced from your own Search Console data, published into Ghost, WordPress or a blog on your own domain. From $49 a month, free while it is in beta. Here is how it compares to Outrank, row by row, including the rows Outrank wins.
Pick Outrank if backlinks and a Domain Rating number are the reason you are buying, or if you want each article to arrive fully furnished with tables, a contents list and five images. Pick AmplifySignal if you want the article and its social posts on one calendar, your keywords chosen from your own search data, a blog that does not need a CMS, and no part in a link exchange. Both draft competent articles from a keyword; neither will read like you without your own writing behind it, and only one of them asks for it.
Every Outrank cell was checked on a trial account. Every AmplifySignal cell is what ships today, including the parts that are missing. If something has changed on either side, write to us and the row changes.
Checked September 2026.

| The free trial | YesA free week: your first article and its posts. Nothing of ours in your articles. | PartlyTrial articles carry Outrank branding and a link back to Outrank. |
Every article on the calendar shows the posts it produced, timed after it goes live: Bluesky two hours later, LinkedIn the next morning, each with the link. Outrank stops at the article; the promotion is another product with another bill. If the reason you publish is to be read, the posts are half the work.
Once Search Console is connected, the nightly plan queues the queries you already rank for at position 8 to 20. Those are the pages one revision or one supporting article from page one. Outrank's calendar fills from competitor analysis and a volume index, which describe the web in general rather than your site.
Outrank's exchange trades links between customers for credits, and its marketplace sells placements inside other customers' articles. That is what Google calls link spam, and the penalty lands on your domain. We don't offer it. Cross-linking between sites you own is on our roadmap; a cross-customer exchange never will be.
If you have no WordPress or Webflow, Outrank has nowhere to publish. We can host the blog and serve it on your own domain, as a folder like example.com/blog or a subdomain, with the sitemap, feed and canonical tags already pointing there. Ghost and WordPress owners keep their CMS and we schedule into it.
If your plan depends on Domain Rating going up, Outrank sells exactly that, with the number on the dashboard. We show Search Console impressions and positions instead, and nothing about authority.
Outrank's articles arrive with a table of contents, comparison tables, checklists, citations and four or five styled images. Ours are prose with headings and links, plus an optional two illustrations. For a listicle-heavy site that gap is visible.
Outrank publishes into WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer and others, and goes up to three articles a day. We publish into Ghost, WordPress and our own hosting, and top out at 90 a month.
Outrank rewrites the articles that stall and has been doing this for paying customers for longer. AmplifySignal is in beta, proving itself on our own sites first, which is why it is free right now.
There is a trial. Trial articles carry Outrank's branding and a link back to Outrank, so free use builds their backlink profile. Paid plans start at $99 a month for 30 articles, with a smaller tier of 8 a month. AmplifySignal is free during the beta and starts at $49 a month for 8 articles after that.
No. There is no exchange, no marketplace and no authority score, and that is a decision rather than a gap. Links between sites you own yourself are on the roadmap. Links traded between customers are not, because that is the kind of link scheme that gets a domain penalised.
Your published articles live on your CMS, not on Outrank, so they stay where they are. Connect Ghost or WordPress, and existing articles can be imported to get their social posts. The voice guide is built from those same published posts, so your own writing shapes the new drafts from the first one.
It builds a style guide from your published writing and every draft carries it. It takes the rhythm and habits, never facts or sentences. The feature is new as of September 2026, so hold the first drafts for review, which every plan lets you do, and judge it on your own site.
Bluesky and LinkedIn are posted for you. X, Threads and Mastodon are manual: the post is written and timed, and you get a link that opens the composer with the text filled in. X's API is a paid product, and we would rather not pass that cost on to a small site.
No. A hosted blog can live on your own domain, either as a folder on your site or as a subdomain, with canonical tags, the sitemap and the RSS feed all pointing at your address. If you have Ghost or WordPress, we schedule into it and it publishes at its own time, as it does today.
The first week is free: one article and its posts, on your site. Not launched yet? A free 90-day launch plan costs a domain and one line about it.
Outrank is a trademark of its owner. AmplifySignal is not affiliated with Outrank; the Outrank column describes what a trial account showed on the date above and may since have changed. See also the AI visibility check and pricing.
